Research Interests
Multimodal Machine Learning & Robotic Planning
I believe a necessary ability for machines to achieve human-level understanding about the world is to process various modalities simultaneously. Currently, I am a member at the PALM Lab directed by Chen Sun, working on vision-language models. Recently, I have been extending my interest toward applying vision-language models and video generation models to robotics. I believe that the broad world knowledge embedded in foundation models can serve as powerful priors, enabling robots to perform more complex and generalizable planning tasks.
Previously, I worked on multimodal machine learning under the supervision of Hang Zhao at MARS Lab.
Sports Analytics
In the past, I also did research in sports analytics. I spent my last undergraduate year working with Shaoliang Zhang in deep learning methods for team sports analytics. It is my belief that advanced deep learning methods will help improve team sports tactics in a way hard for human to discover.
