I wrote a column Machine Learning in Football Analytics (MLFA) in Chinese on Zhihu when I was an undergraduate. I noticed that this area was much less popular in China than in the west and there was almost no Chinese materials introducing it. Therefore, I wrote this column to popularize this field, especially among people who are interested in football and machine learning. I wish this field will get more attention in China in the future.
